Edificio Officina Real
11 apartments overlooking Rua do Loreto in a building that once contained workshops where pewter artifacts were produced for the Royal House. The section of Rua do Loreto between Praça Luís de Camões and Largo do Calhariz was once one of the city's busiest commercial thoroughfares. Emblazoned on the doors of its shops was a royal crown and the following inscription: “Officina da Real Casa” (Workshop of the Royal House). The name Edifício Officina Real comes from the "Casa Real" or royal workshops where pewter artefacts used to be produced in the building.
