Ach Brito
With a history dating back to 1887, with the founding of Claus & Schweder by the Germans Ferdinand Claus and George Schweder, the Ach Brito was founded in 1918 by the brothers Affonso and Aquilles de Brito. In 1925, Ach Brito acquires Claus & Schweder combining innovation, experience.
After decades of leading the market and with the appearance of new products - such as bath gel - and new distribution networks, the path of the brand loses its spirit, until in 1994 the company's leadership passed into the hands of Achilles' great-grandchildren de Brito: Achilles and Sónia Brito. The company is restructured and the product portfolio is repositioned. With the new millennium there is also the desire to reach new horizons and Ach Brito's luxury brand, Claus Porto, begins to be placed in international markets.
In 2008, Saboaria and Perfumaria Confiança SA, the second oldest soap factory in the country, were acquired, and Ach Brito started to operate across the market.
Nowadays, Ach Brito continues to cherish and respect its history and tradition, without ever neglecting quality and innovation.
